What To Expect

When working within each residence, great care is given, to ensure that there is no dust or creosote residue left behind. We use clean drop cloths, clean plastic that covers furniture and other belongings, drop cloth runners that run from the front door to the fireplace, and we wear booties so nothing is tracked in from outside.

We do ask that the tenants please remove/move, any items/objects that are in close proximity to the fireplace opening. We ask to please have the tenant move any furniture that may be obstructing access to the fireplace opening. We can help move any heavy objects or furniture. Any items that we move will be placed in their original location after the chimney cleaning is completed.

We will leave the damper assembly in the “open" position after completing the chimney cleaning.
That ensures that there is no interior smoke problem if the tenant doesn’t check to see if the
damper is open or closed, prior to lighting a fire. If the tenant is home, we will ask them if they
would like us to leave the damper open or close it for them.
